Brisbane's The Shuttle Wreckers are the special guest act for this week's PLW Live Showcase in Melbourne.
The Shuttle Wreckers features Alex Monsour on vocals and Steven 'Theo' Theodoros on keyboards with Trent Watermen on lead guitar, Blakely Akers on bass and Clinton Cochrane on drums.The are one of the acts that were noticed for Triple J's Unearthed.
They describe their sound as between The White Stripes and Scissor Sisters and influences from The Beatles, Oasis and Michael Jackson.
The PLW Live Showcase will also feature Sam Clark, Adam Martin, Trinity, Magenta Harley and Art of Wor.
The MC for the evening is singer/songwriter Mandy Kane.
The PLW Live Showcase is at The Blue Diamond, Level 15, 123 Queen St, Melbourne on Wednesday.
Doors open at 8.30pm. Admission is $8.
