Youth Group is about to return after recording their anticipated forth album 'The Night Is Ours' in a Sydney mess hall.
The band spent the second half of last year working on the album in Sydney with Chris Walla of Death Cab For Cutie fame at the mixing desk.Instead of working out of a studio, Youth Group found the derelict 1920s mess hall and brought in their own gear to put down the album. The dining room become the band room and the bathroom was the control room.
They also created their own 'reality show' as they recorded with cameras rolling and documenting their activity. 'Behind the Scenes' footage has been placed at youthgroup.com.au
The first single from the album will be 'Two Sides'.
The single will be released on May 13. The album in June 14.
