Stone Temple Pilots have played their first show in 6 years in Los Angeles.
The show for the reunited band took place at the Houdini Mansion, in the Lauren Canyon area of Beverly Hills. The house was where they filmed their 'Creep' video. It is also where Red Hot Chili Peppers and Maroon 5 have recorded albums.The 30-minute set was a warm-up for their tour, which begins on May 17 in Columbus, Ohio.
The band played their hits 'Vasoline', 'Plush', 'Interstate Love Song' and 'Big Empty' as well as 'Lady Picture Show', 'Big Bang Baby' and 'Trippin' On A Hole In A Paper Heart'.
The original line-up featuring Weiland, with the DeLeo brothers Robert and Dean and drummer Eric Kretz played last night. They broke up after the 2001 album 'Shangri-La Dee Da'.
