Rapper Mos Def is heading back to the big screen to play the part of rock and roll legend Chuck Berry in the movie 'Cadillac Records'.
The movie is currently in production and features an impressive cast including Beyonce as Etta James, Jeffrey Wright as Muddy Waters, Cedric The Entertainer as Willie Dixon and Adrein Brody as Leonard Chess.Mos Def has previously starred in the movies 'Brown Sugar', 'The Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy', 'The Italian Job' and '16 Blocks'.
He once also popped up in an episode of Spin City.
Cadillac Records documents the rise and fall of Leonard Chess' Chess Records label.
Leonard and Phil Chess created Chess Records in the 50s in Chicago. The label was home to Chuck Berry, Willie Dixon, Muddy Waters.
The Rolling Stones recorded many of their 60s hit in the Chess studios.
The Chess Brothers sold the company in 1969 for $6.5 million and Leonard died that same year.
