Jason Rae, the 31 year old husband of UK singer Corrine Bailey Rae, has died of a suspected heroine overdose.
Jason Rae played saxophone in the band Haggis Horns and has worked with Amy Winehouse.The 31 year old musician was found at the couple's apartment in Hyde Park, London. Corrine was not around at the time.
Jason and Corrine married in 2001. She was 23 at the time.
Corrine released her debut album in 2006 and had a worldwide hit with 'Put The Record On'.
She contributed to this year's Grammy award winning Album of the Year 'River: The Joni Letters' by Herbie Hancock'.
Corrine is currently working on her second album.
The 8-piece Haggis Horns were scheduled to play at the HiFi Club in Leeds last night (Sunday, March 23). The show was cancelled.

Jason Rae played alto and baritone sax in the band. They had recently released their debut album 'Hot Damn'.
