The Martin Scorsese Rolling Stones movie 'Shine A Light' will screen at SxSW during the music festival.
SxSW will extend music related movies from the Film Conference one week earlier for music registrants attending the event.The Stones movie, along with Gorillaz 'Bananaz', Bela Fleck's 'Throw Down Your Heart and Lou Reed's 'Berlin' will be screen during the music part of the conference from March 12-15.
'Shine A Light' was filmed at the Beacon Theatre in New York in 2006. Special guests on the show, who feature in the movie, are Buddy Guy, Jack White and Christina Aguilera.
The shows were put on for Bill Clinton's 60th birthday. It was also where music legend Ahmet Ertegun fell and went into a coma which he never recovered from.
The soundtrack for 'Shine A Light' will be released through Universal Music.
