"Cheyenne Cinnamon and the Fantabulous Unicorn of Sugar Town Candy Fudge" is the new TV show from Aqua Teen Hunger Force co-creator Dave Willis, and features Neko Case in the pilot.
The show, which is still in the early stages of production, is about "a Strawberry Shortcake pop princess that lives in a candy wonderland just outside of Detroit. She comes into Detroit and helps solve problems of racism and teen pregnancy with the power of love and teen pop songs," Willis told Pitchfork Media.Case will voice the Strawberry Shortcake pop princess, but will not actually sing in the show, to keep the show true to real life pop stars.
The songs have been penned by power-pop producer extraordinaire Butch Walker.
Case's involvement with Willis came after she appeared in an episode of the next series of Aqua Teen Hunger Force, along with Josh Homme, T-Pain, Kelly Hogan and John Kruk (he played baseball or something...).
Previous guests on the show have included Danzig and Zakk Wylde.
