Josh Groban's 'Noel' ended up selling 3,699,000 units last year, which earned him the top spot as the biggest selling album of 2007 in the USA, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
Groban was also the biggest selling artist of 2007, with his total catalogue shifting 4,835,000 units.'Noel' was also the first seasonal album to top an end of year chart and the first seasonal album to sell more than 3 million copies.
The previous biggest selling Christmas album was Kenny G's 'Miracles: A Holiday Album' which sold 2,986,000 units back in 1994.
