QUEEN WILL PLAY TWO SHOWS IN LONDON IN EARLY JULY

Disappointed fans of Queen who purchased tickets for the cancelled Sonisphere gig will have a chance to see them play over two nights at The Hammersmith Apollo in early July.

The dates for these shows haven't been announced, so keep your eyes peeled. In other Queen news, the BBC has reported that Queens Greatest Hits album is at the top of the list of the biggest selling albums in the U.K. Thus far the album has sold 5.8 million copies and is rivalled only by the Beatles "Sgt Peppers" album which has sold 5 million. No surprises where Adele is concerned on this list, she comes in at number 6 for "21" which has only been released for 15 months.

Here is the full Top 10 of the best selling albums in the U.K as compiled for the BBC by the Official Charts Company.

01 - Queen – "Greatest Hits"

02 - The Beatles – "Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band"
03 - Abba – "Gold"
04 - Oasis – "What's The Story Morning Glory"
05 - Michael Jackson – "Thriller"
06 - Adele – "21"
07 - Dire Straits – "Brothers In Arms"
08 - Pink Floyd – "Dark Side Of The Moon"
09 - Michael Jackson – "Bad"
10- Queen – "Greatest Hits II"
