Troubled rocker Pete Doherty has been charged with seven counts of drug possession and is being held in custody and is due to appear in court on Friday (August 18) to hear his fate.
The charges stem from arrests on the 20th and 29th of April and the 7th of August and include three charges of cocaine possession, two charges of diamorphine (heroin) possession and two charges of cannabis possession.In other Doherty news, he has signed a book publishing deal to release his diaries, which include poems, details of his relationship with model Kate Moss and features details about his former band, The Libertines.
Doherty recently checked himself into a Portuguese drug rehabilitation clinic.
