The site NinetyNights.com will feature a daily video of 30-60 second duration produced by Vincent Moon (Arcade Fire, The National).According to Network Solutions, the net registry of dot coms, the URL was registered on December 13, 2007 and is owned by R.E.M. Athens, LLC.
The yet-to-be-titled album album was recorded this year in Vancouver, Athens and Dublin with producer Jacknife Lee.
For fans for the older guitar-driven R.E.M., the new record sounds like it will be a return to form.
Fans are advised to visit Ninetynights.com site daily as each new video will only be hi-res for one day. After 24 hours, the clips will be archived in lo-res and the new clip uploaded.
