Goldfrapp are ditching their electro-infused pop for their fourth album 'Seventh Tree' and moving towards a more acoustic and organic sound.
In a recent interview in Billboard, Allison Goldfrapp said, "We did talk quite a lot about what kind of instruments would get that kind of warmth and that kind of sound we wanted. We'd never used acoustic guitars before. We wanted the sound to be delicate, but not weak."The live show is going to be stripped back as well, with more emphasis on acoustic and live instruments.
The record was co-produced by Flood (Smashing Pumpkins, NIN).
The track listing for 'Seventh Tree' is:
Clowns
Little Bird
Happiness
Road To Somewhere
Eat Yourself
Some People
AandE
Cologne Cerrone Houdini
Caravan Girl
Monster Love
