Wolfmother may performance acoustic at the 2009 Neil Young benefit for the Bridge School Concert.
Young has announced the first stage of the line-up with No Doubt, Jimmy Buffett (Saturday), Chris Martin of Coldplay, Sheryl Crow, Fleet Foxes, Monsters of Folk, Gavin Rossdale and Adam Sandler (Sunday only) joining him and Wolfmother for the charity show.The 23rd Annual Bridge School Benefit Concerts will take place at Mountain View, California on October 24 and 25.
Young’s wife Pegi started the benefits for their children’s school in 1986. The only year the show has not happened since was in 1987.
The practice of the show is for bands to performance using acoustic instruments but it is not a rule.
