The Australian premiere of 'The Future Is Unwritten', the Julien Temple documentary on the life of Joe Strummer, will take place in Sydney on December 22nd at the Revolution Rock tribute night.
Revolution Rock will mark the 5th anniversary of the death of The Clash frontman.Julien Temple completed the film this year. It plots the life of Strummer as told via old interview footage with the punk legend, and via his friends, family and admirers.
One of those admirers is U2's Bono, who called The Clash "a life changing band'.
Revolution Rock will feature performances from The Hard-Ons, The Currency and Waiting For Guinness.
It will take place at The Gaelic Club in Surry Hills, Sydney on December 22nd.
