Folkies Bon Iver and Eminem’s new duo lead this week’s new releases.
The reviews are already in that Bon Iver’s self-titled second album is a masterpiece, but they won’t need critical acclaim to be the biggest album of the week.
But another monster release will be Eminem and Royce Da 5’ 9” as Bad Meets Evil with their mini-album Hell: The Sequel.
Speaking of kooky folk experimentalists, though, Laim Finn finally releases his new album Fomo this week, as well as bluesy UK heroes Gomez with Whatever’s On Your Mind.
The Grates also release their much-anticipated third album, Secret Rituals, inspired by Brooklyn and new wave and their new life as a duo.
There’s a new indietronica from Owl City (AKA Adam Young), All Things Bright And Beautiful and Patrick Wolf’s tender Lupercalia album.
Club sensation Wynter Gordon delivers her full-length album With The Music I Die and French producer Yuksek drops Living On The Edge Of Time.
Manchester psych rock and VIVID Live visitors Wu Lyf release their debut Go Tell Fire To The Mountain.
And following the Tony Awards, we’ll get “soundtracks” from How To Succees In Business Without Really Trying and Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark.
