Viewers watching the final episode of Parkinson for 2007 were treated to the debut performance by k.d. lang of her new song 'I Dream Of Spring', a song written about the city of Melbourne, Australia.
"I return from the streets from the Melbourne, I return my love" k.d. sings in the song 'I Dream of Spring'.The song will be the lead single from her forthcoming album 'Watershed', to be released in February 2008.
'Watershed' will be k.d.'s first album of original new studio material in 7 years. The title of the record is a reference to her benchmark 40th birthday.
k.d lang will begin 'The Watershed Tour' in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on January 26th. The North American tour will end of March 26th in San Francisco. k.d. lang will then begin her Australian tour in April 12 in the NSW Hunter Valley. Shows are also scheduled for Canberra, Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, Adelaide and Brisbane.
