Chances are you won't see Divinyls perform 'I Ain't Gonna Eat Out My Heart Anymore' when the ARIA Hall of Fame airs on VH1 this weekend.
After a 12 year break, ChrissiyAmphlett and Mark McEntee threw an extra song in to their set during their induction ceremony.After cranking through their classics 'I Touch Myself' and 'Boys In Town', Divinyls launched into an obviously unscheduled 'I Ain't Gonna Eat Out My Heart Anymore' as Chrissie cautioned a producer "you can edit this out for the show".
This was Oz rock at its finest. Divinyls had not performed live in more than a decade so Chrissy was in no way going to chopped down.
Actor Hugh Jackman did the honours for Divinyls. He and Chrissy are currently performing in the stage show 'The Boy From Oz'.
The ARIA Hall of Fame was held last night (August 16) in Melbourne.
