Sir Paul McCartney is reported to be in the studio, helping to launch a music career for his son James.
James is now 30 years old.He has played on his father's records in the past. That is his guitar solo on 'Heaven on a Sunday' from the 1997 album 'Flaming Pie'. He also co-wrote the songs 'Spinning On An Axis' and 'Back In The Sunshine Again' on dad's 2001 album 'Driving Rain'.
James also played on the one and only solo album for his late mother Linda. Her posthumous album 'Wide Prairie' was released in 2001.
The McCartney x 2 album is still in the early stages. A 2008 release is more than likely.
