The Big Day Out festival has today announced it's second list of bands, with a few nice surprises covering a wide range of genres.
Spoon will bring their indie charm, with their album 'Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga' being one of the "must have" albums of 2007, Kate Nash's rough edged brand of British pop will dazzle audiences (hopefully on a smaller stage than Lily Allen dazzled audiences with last year), DJ Carl Cox makes a welcome return to the boiler room and UNKLE will play live for the first time at a Big Day Out.On the political side of things, Anti-Flag will bring their anti-everything pop punk to Australian audiences. I'll bet you ten bucks The Nightwatchman (being Tom Morello of Rage Against the Machine) will join them on stage at least once on the tour too.
