Controversial Canadian born, Berlin based electro-ho, Peaches, has had a pair of her used underwear removed from eBay.
The saucy piece of rock memorabilia was seemed "unsuitable" for sale by the auction site. The auction was part of a number of others intended to raise money for the financially and health burdened Tyler Clark Burke, founder of Three Gut Records and visual artist.
Burke told NME "The Peaches auction was yanked because it was apparently against the eBay adult content mandate - no used underwear, no matter what. What I'm going to do is actually auction off a ball of peach yarn so eBay won't pull it again and the winner of this yarn will also get a free pair of used Peaches thong undies, which I'll explain on my site, not on eBay. She's donated a nice pink mesh thong."
So if you want a pair of Peaches used undies, get bidding on some... *ahem* "PEACH ball of LUCKY yarn", which currently has 0 bids, with an opening bid of $US500.
NB, don't bother asking on the auction about the underwear, since they will not respond.
Proceeds from the auctions, which also include the chance for Broken Social Scene to write a song about you, will help buy Burke a house, with 20% of proceeds going to 'Habitat for Humanity', a charity which former US president Jimmy Carter worked with building homes for the homeless.
