Eagles 'Long Road Out Of Eden' has become the fastest selling album ever for digital retailer BigPond Music.
In just two weeks, the first Eagles album in 28 years has become not only the fastest selling album every for BigPond Music, but also the biggest selling album for BigPond Music so far this year.Meagan Henderson, General Manager Digital of Universal Music commented that "We always knew that the Eagles were going to break records around the world. We looked for a true partnership to help launch this album and BigPond certainly delivered that for us. We are not surprised that this album has performed as it has for BigPond".
'Long Road Out Of Eden' has spent two weeks at number one in Australia, with sales of more than 33,000 units.
It knocked Delta Goodrem's 'Delta' from number one in only its first week on the chart, and blocked Veronica's from debuting at number one this week with their second album 'Hook Me Up.
