Norwegian black metal pioneers Immortal bring their darkness down under next March.
The cult band changed the face of black metal from their beginnings in 1990 until their break-up in 2003, fusing thrash, classic crusty black metal and elaborate occult mythology. Now Immortal bring their tales from the imaginary world of Blashyrkh to Australia for the first time ever. Some ex-members convened in 2006 to release an album as black metal supergroup I, and subsequently Abbath, Demonaz and Horgh announced that Immortal would be resurrected. The touring band currently consists of Abbath, Horgh and Aura Noir bassist Apollyon.
