Tina Arena has been recalled to active duty after a 6 year hiatus following the demise of her Sony contract.
The Australian singer will release her new album 'Songs of Love & Loss' through EMI Records.As the title suggests, the album features handpicked covers about love and heartbreak.
"This album is about more than just a woman carrying the torch for her lost love's return," Tina said in a statement. "These songs are powerful and uplifting and they are as much about the lives of the women who sang them - Lulu, Dusty Springfield, Carole King, Diana Ross. These women really took on life in their own way and at their peak they sang songs that made a statement."
