Canadian singer k.d. lang has immortalized Melbourne, Australia in a song from her forthcoming album.
In the song 'I Dream of Spring', k.d. sings about "the streets of Melbourne".The song will be the lead track of her forthcoming album 'Watershed'.
'Watershed' will be k.d.'s first album of new songs since 'Invincible Summer' in 2000.
She was in Sydney this week setting up plans for the release of the album, which is coming out through Warner Music in February 2008.
