The Rolling Stones have turned the table on merchandise. In fact, they have turned their stage in tables.
Stones fans can now have a piece of history as their kitchen table or dining room bench.Jake Berry, a rock and roll tour producer has founded Stage Set Collectibles. He worked on The Stones 'Voodoo Lounge' tour and has tour managed U2, Metallica and AC/DC.
Berry approached The Stones with his concept for Stage Set Collectibles and they agreed. They went into an agreement for Berry to dismantle old Stones stages and transform them into one-of-a-kind collectibles.
However, it is not cheap. A 40 Licks Coffee Table will set you back $7,500. A table made from the stage of the No Security tour is set at $23,000 and a wooden bar made up of boards trodden on my Mick Jagger during the 'Bridges To Babylon' is listed at $25,000.
