To mark the 20th Anniversary of the release of 'The Joshua Tree', U2 will reissue their classic album in a number of formats.
Fans will be able to choose the original album on CD with new photos from Anton Corbjin, a deluxe format with a bonus rarities CD, a three disc box with DVD and a double vinyl edition.'The Joshua Tree' was U2''s 5th album and it was the album that took them from rock stars to superstars. In 1988, the album won 'Album of the Year' at the Grammy Awards.
'The Joshua Tree' was a new sound for U2. They morphed from traditional rock band to encompass blues, country and gospel on the album, as was evident in the spiritual 'I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For'.
'The Joshua Tree' was originally released on March 9, 1987. The release date for the anniversary album will be November 20, 2007.

In 2007 The Joshua Tree, remastered, arrives in four different formats including a bonus audio CD of b-sides and rarities, a live concert DVD shot in Paris in 1987 and booklets featuring liner notes from the band and unseen photography from Anton Corbijn. Here's all the detail.
