Zomba is suing bitchy blogger Perez Hilton for posting unreleased Britney Spears tracks.
Billboard reports that Zomba filed a copyright infringement suit against Mario Lavandiera, aka Perez Hilton, in the Los Angeles District Court.They claim he has illegally obtained ten completed tracks and demos from Britney's forthcoming 'Blackout' album, posting them on his parasitic celebrity blog over a three month period. Zomba are asking for real and punitive damages as well as legal costs.
The label have advanced the release date of 'Blackout' in response to the many leaks of the tracks. 'Blackout' will be released on October 30, two weeks ahead of its planned launch date.
