Australian singer/songwriter Mick Hart is recovering from an infection that has put his live shows on hold.
Hart was on tour in Germany when he came down with a very bad eye infection which lead to a nerve infection on his face and head.In a statement at his website, it is written that "this had been going on for more than a week and was getting worse and worse and at a very dangerous stage especially with long term concern for his eye. The doctors in Paris have been excellent however and Mick is now at home and healing well although slowly. Deepest apologies for the cancellation of the tour but this health matter was of course of extreme importance. The good news is that MICK should be back to normal very soon with a busy schedule of touring and promotion coming up for the official release of the new album. For those in Germany we hope to reschedule the shows that were cancelled hopefully for sometime in November".
Hart now lives in Paris and records for the French label 'Besides'. His new album 'Finding Home' will be released in France on October 16.
