The Meredith Music Festival has added a typically eclectic array of international and local acts in its second lineup announcement.
Aussie rock luminaries Hoodoo Gurus head the second announcement, along with cerebral Philadelphia alt-rockers Dr Dog. Canadian two-piece and old-school video game obsessives Crystal Castles will emerge from the blogosphere to play in the flesh, whilst Sarah Blasko will meander through the more organic end of the musical spectrum.Local act The Smallgoods will be bringing their pastoral pop sounds to the Supernatural Amphitheatre for the first time, alongside long-time Meredith legends Combo La Revelacion. The announcement is rounded out by King Brothers, The Devastations, DJ Ritchie 1250 and Paris Wells & Thief.
They join the likes of The Gossip, The Black Lips, Gotye, Eddy Current Suppression Ring, Cut Copy and Art Brut for the weekend festival in rural Victoria on December 14-16.
As of Wednesday afternoon, a limited number of Saturday-Sunday tickets were available from the Meredith website, www.mmf.com.au, where you'll also find the full line-up and anything else you'd need to know about Victoria's favourite festival.
