A 24-year-old man in Atlanta has been arrested following the beating death of 30-year-old Andrew Richardson at a Korn concert.
As previously reported by Undercover, Richardson had attended the July 30 leg of the Family Values tour with his heavily pregnant girlfriend and mentally challenged child. After asking a fellow concert-goer to refrain from jostling his family, Richardson was allegedly punched in the head, falling to the concrete floor and never regaining consciousness.Police now believe that fellow concert-goer to be 24-year-old Michael John Axley, arresting him on Monday night and charging him with Richardson's murder. Atlanta police revealed that they received tips from fellow concert-goers who knew Axley. An Atlanta PD spokesman commended the witnesses for doing "the right thing".
Korn released a statement offering their condolences to Richardson's family and friends, reading, "All the bands on the Family Values Tour offer their sincerest condolences and prayers to the family of 30-year-old Andy Richardson."
