Rolling Stones guitarist Ron Wood has been arrested for allegedly assaulting is 21-year old girlfriend Ekaterina Ivanova.
Wood was taken into custody after the alleged assault took place at his Claygate High Street address in Surrey,The 62-year old guitarist spent the night in jail but was released on bail earlier today.
Wood shacked up with Ivanova earlier this year and bought his 24-year old marriage to wife Jo to a grinding halt. They divorced last month.
Ivanova and Wood’s relationship has been a turbulent one but both insist the relationship is real and Ekaterina has said that they want to have children.
Wood had two children with Jo. Both are older than Ekaterina.
