Free/Bad Company and sometimes Queen frontman Paul Rodgers has married his longtime girlfriend Cynthia Kereluk in a surprise ceremony in Canada.
Cynthia is a former Miss Canada as well as an exercise physiologist and artist.The couple invited guests to a 'garden party' in their country home on the weekend in Canada's Okanagan Valley.
70 family and friends gathered at 7pm on Saturday when Paul told them that they were actually there for a wedding.
The date chosen was the 10th anniversary of Paul and Cynthia as a couple.
After the honeymoon, Rodgers is expected to enter the studio with Brain May and Roger Taylor of Queen for a new studio album.
Although there have been a number of reissues, live albums and rarities released over the years, this will be the first new album project from Queen since the death of Freddie Mercury.
