This Saturday while you are celebrating the Hawks win over Collingwood, Paul McCartney will be receiving France's highest cultural distinction the the Legion of Honor medal.
As reported by The Guardian the former Beatle will be given the rank of officer, which is the Legion's
middle grade. Mc Cartney will be the very first British musician to receive the award. In the past France have awarded the same to Clint Eastwood, J.K. Rowling and Liza Minnelli.
