Future Role Models, Jason Singh of Taxiride's new outfit, played its first gig for the Asia market at the launch of Sutasi on Thursday in Bangkok.
Singh's Asian background helped enforce the theme of Sutasi, the music event of 2008 which is designed as a platform to discover and promote talent from the Asian region for the planet.Future Role Models also features drummer Dayne Lawless, guitarist Aaron Laguda and bass player Kit Riley.
The band's performance at the Sutasi launch was only their third ever performance, after debuting just two weeks ago in Sydney and Melbourne. They played 'The World As You Know It', the song recorded with Snoop Dogg.
Sutasi founder and President Colleen Zulian invited Future Role Models to Thailand for the launch as well as local bands Hangman and Futon.
Unsigned Future Role Models are an example of the talent Sutasi expects to discover in Asia and launch globally.
Entry for both songwriters and performers for Sutasi are now open at Sutasi.com
