David Bowie has denied a story in this week's London Sun that he will star as an alien in an upcoming episode of Dr Who.
Bowie has laughed of the article saying that it is "absolute tish and tosh".On Thursday, The Sun ran the headline 'Other-Worldly' Bowie Stars As Alien In Dr Who'. The story claimed that the rock superstar would "cross swords with the Tardis's Time Lord when he kidnaps crime author Agatha Christie - who in real life mysteriously disappeared for 11 days in 1926'.
While Alien Bowie won't be battling the Time Lord, he does admit that the producers of the show first asked him to appear in the sci-fi series as far back as the 80s.
