You may remember an article from late 2011 about the discovery of David Bowie footage from Top of The Pops 1973 despite the BBC having wiped it from their records? Well here it is!
Bless cameraman John Henshall for preserving this! It all came down to the fact that he had used a fish eyed lense of his own creation and wanted the tape for his showreel.....So the producers gave him a copy. As it turns out it ended up being the only copy in existence.
