New York's Interpol left fans in Newcastle, England waiting when they cancelled a show due to illness on Tuesday night.
The fans had already packed out the Newcastle Academy when it was announced over the PA system that the band would not be playing.A statement on the band's official website read: "Deepest regrets go out to Newcastle, one of four have fallen ill - needless to explain that minus one = zero Interpol. Truly very sorry."
The band's gig at Edinburgh's Corn Exchange on Wednesday night went ahead as planned, as will their performances as this weekend's Reading and Leeds festivals.
