Former Tonic singer Emerson Hart will include a public service announcement at the end of his new video to support animal adoptions.
The video for his new song 'If You're Gonna Leave' was partially shot at an animal shelter in Los Angeles.Hart owns four rescued dogs and wants the video to reflect his enthusiasm for animal adoption.
The song will feature on his first solo release 'Cigarettes & Gasoline'.
Tonic formed in 1993 in Los Angeles. Their 1996 album 'Lemon Parade' featured the worldwide hit 'If You Could Only See'.
In 2003, Tonic received two Grammy nominations for their song 'Take Me As I Am'.
Emerson has been booked to sing the national anthem at Dodger Stadium
perform the American national anthem at Dodger Stadium on August 16th.
'Cigarettes and Gasoline' features a dark theme about the unsolved murder of his father when he was 10 years old.
