Grinspoon headline an all-star East Coast tour for those tee totalling kiddies.
Dubbed 'Breakout '07, the three-point tour in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane will feature some of alterna-rock's biggest Australian acts, all exclusively for the underage kids. Fresh from their fifth studio album 'Alibis And Other Lies' peaking at second spot on the ARIA Charts, Grinspoon are back; lean, mean, and Phil is clean. They'll be supported by Brisbane's The Butterfly Effect, whose soaring modern rock became a phenomenon on the underground smash of last year 'Imago'. Also breaking out are Perth's emo-rockers Gyroscope, who are preparing their third album and a tour with Fall Out Boy.
Perth's fuzz-poppers Little Birdy join the bill as a minor diversion from their extensive national tour through September and October. Swooning indie clique Youth Group jump on Breakout as part of a series of festivals they've joined, as well as support for Sydney mammoth Powderfinger/ Silverchair show. Melbourne's post-hardcore kids Horsell Common will open up proceedings.
Tickets to Breakout 07 are on sale now.
