British alterna-popsters Hard-Fi have hit back at ticket touts, confiscating tickets from them and giving them to real fans.
Front man Richard Archer told wenn.com, "We wanted it to be our fans getting the tickets. People on our mailing list went into a ballot but it got leaked on a public website."Some people may have bought tickets then were genuinely not able to go so they sell them, which is fine. If we found out who did it, we took the tickets off them and reallocated them to a real fan."
The band's second album 'Once Upon A Time In The West' will feature a coverless cover, as the band have the album title and band name in minimal writing and "no cover art" covering the rest.
This is meant to symbolize the diminishing significance of a cover in this era of digital downloading. Strangely enough, such a symbolic album cover better fits the description of "cover art" than most sleeves out there today.
The tracklisting for 'Once Upon A Time In The West' is:
Surburban Knights
I Shall Overcome
Tonight
Watch Me Fall Apart
I Close My Eyes
Television
Help Me Please
Can't Get Along
We Need Love
Little Angel
The King
It will be out in the first week of September.
