Hard Fi's Steve Kemp has had a snap at Led Zeppelin, calling them "dinosaurs".
Kemp told The Daily Star "Paying over £100 for a ticket is a joke. Why should you pay so much money for it? These rock 'n' roll dinosaurs are coming out for one last pay cheque."I don't know what they are going to do on stage that's so special."
He was talking about the band's reunion show, scheduled to take place next Tuesday (December 10), which saw 20,000,000 fans, apply for tickets that cost £125 each.
It will only be the third time they have played since the death of drummer John Bonham and, according to guitarist Jimmy Page, the first time they've properly rehearsed.
Earlier this year, Kemp told website Digital Spy, "I think we should split up in November, just to get back together in December. See if it makes us more famous.
"Maybe we could have November off and get back together in December and call it the reunion tour. The few remaining tickets will sell out in no time. It will be a winner. It will be perfect."
Hey Kemp, two albums - successful in just one country - doth not a musical legacy make, jus' sayin' is all.
For the record, all proceeds (or that "one last pay cheque") from the December 10 gig will go to the Ahmet Ertegun Education Fund, a charity which pays for scholarships in the US, UK and Ahmet Ertegun's native Turkey.
