Former R&B star Bobby Brown will beef up security ahead of his Australian concerts due to a supposed threat from al-Qaeda.
Brown, who was supposed to have stopped taking drugs several years ago, apparently ranks somewhere in the vicinity of George Bush and that Danish cartoonist in Osama bin Laden's "list of people who must die".According to Sudanese writer Kola Boof, the now-reclusive terrorist leader is obsessed with Brown's former wife Whitney Houston. Despite divorcing in October last year, Brown believes Osama may still hold a grudge over the pair's turbulent 14-year marriage. He said that anyone who received a threat from al-Qaeda would take it seriously.
"I figure if bin Laden wants me, and everybody is looking for him, it probably won't happen", Brown told bemused Australian media. "But if he wants to try and find me for something so stupid, he can do what he wants. I have to leave it in the hands of my higher power."
