Rap mogul P. Diddy's hunt for a new PA solicits thousands of applications.
As reported by Undercover in April, P. Diddy has been searching for a new personal assistant to buff his diamonds, field his calls and possibly hold a parasol over his head on vacations.On July 12 he opened the position up to all viewers of his various media channels. He posted a YouTube video asking for fans to post video interviews for the job, saying with a smirk, "What better job than that, to have me scream at you, go crazy, keep you up late hours, have you sleep deprived?"
He was no longer smirking in a video posted later in the day, telling the audience that over 10,000 people had applied. He took the time to clarify that applicants need to know how to read, write and count, and have a college degree.
After the finalists are chosen, Diddy plans to interview the best applicants on camera and have the web audience vote on who should get the job. This may be a decent way to choose the next Idol or Big Brother winner, but it'll be interesting to see how a net savvy job seeker handles a million-dollar empire.
