The recently reformed Crowded House have announced their long awaited and highly anticipated tour of Australia and New Zealand.
It will be the band's first full scale tour of either country since 1996.While the tour doesn't begin until November, the band will perform two shows in Australia and one in Auckland next month.
They will headline the Live Earth show in Sydney on July 7, as well as playing a special club show at Melbourne's Corner Hotel two days later and Auckland's Kings Arms on July 12 (both of which are very very sold out).
The last time the band played in Melbourne was at the Corner Hotel in 1996.
Recent set lists show the band not shying away from their now legendary catalogue. Fans of 'Distant Sun', 'Four Seasons In One Day', 'Better Be Home Soon', 'When You Come' and others will be quite happy.
The band will also release their first album in 10 years this Saturday, 'Time On Earth'.
Supports for the band are Augie March in Australia and a newly reformed Supergroove in New Zealand.
