Reformed and legendary proto-emo punks The Get Up Kids are heading out here.
The band, famed for their 1999 album Something To Write Home About, which helped shape the next decade of emo and pop-punk, broke up in 2005.
But they returned in 2008, and quickly released comeback albums with 2010’s Simple Science and this year’s There Are Rules.
They jumped aboard the Soundwave Festival in 2010 and now they return for an Australian headline tour to celebrate the latest record.
Tickets go on sale next Friday 15 April.
