US glam metal dudes Avenged Sevenfold bring Sevendust out for an Australian tour.
The band’s history has certainly been chequered, particularly following the overdose death of drummer Jimmy “The Rev” Sullivan at the end of 2009.
Yet they regrouped and returned in mid-2010 with their fifth album Nightmare, which debuted at the top of the Billboard charts and at number nine on the ARIA chart.
They’ve been playing across the US, are winding up for the European festival circuit, and have just announced their Australian tour for July.
Avenged Sevenfold will be supported by Stateside modern metal act Sevendust, who appeared on this year’s Soundwave Festival.
Frontier pre-sale tickets to this double-seven tour will kick off from midday on Thursday 19 May and will go to the general public from 9am on Thursday 26 May.
