Former Beatle Paul McCartney is set to release an album of choral works in English and Latin in the northern fall.
McCartney was commissioned by Oxford's Magdalen College to compose the music for 'Ecce Cor Meum', which means 'Behold My Heart'.It will be the star's fourth classical album, although he says this one has been the most complex.
"Eventually I made it all come together through correcting some misapprehensions," McCartney said in a statement. "If it had been a Beatles song I would have known how to do it. But this was a completely different ballgame."
'Ecce Cor Meum' will be released on September 26.
