Sir Paul McCartney is ready to take the plunge again. He will marry for a third time.
Mrs McCartney III is Nancy Shevell, his New York girlfriend of the past four years.
McCartney’s spokesperson Stuart Bell has confirmed that Sir Paul and Nancy are engaged.
51-year old Nancy is a board member of the New York Metropolitan Transport Authority and Vice President of a family owned business. She was previously married for 20 years to lawyer Bruce Blakeman.
68-year old McCartney divorced his previous wife Heather Mills in 2008. He married the British model in 2002. They have one daughter, Beatrice.
Sir Paul was married to photographer Linda Eastman for 29 years. She died of cancer in 1998. Linda was also a keyboard player and performed with Paul in his post-Beatles band Wings. They also recorded the album ‘Ram’, credited to Paul and Linda McCartney in 1971.
