The epic and ever ongoing Phil Spector murder trial has taken a turn in Spector's favour today, when a doctor admitted the limitations of science the prosecution has been relying on to lock Spector up.
Dr. Louis Pena, who was in charge of the autopsy of deceased actress Lana Clarkson, admitted that he could not accurately testify that Phil Spector had shot Ms. Clarkson.Defence counsel Christopher Piourd said in what could easily be a Law & Order script, "Let's get it very basic. You can't tell who was holding the gun?"
"That's correct," Pena responded.
It's been a tough time for Spector in the past couple of days, especially from yesterday, where Pena had testified that he believed Lana Clarkson had been murdered.
