Everybody loves Lily Allen. The singer has captured the world's imagination with her blunt views on London life and has been described as twee garage, and her admirers can check her out in Melbourne and Sydney in less than two weeks time.
Her popularity soared thanks to her MySpace site. She never intended to become a full time singer, but according to some, she was at one point the thirteenth most listened to artist in the world.Whoever booked this tour might have a screw or two loose in their brains, since both venues pack punters in to dangerous levels on a normal night, let alone when one of the most hyped artists in the world comes by to play.
So the shows might get ugly, but if you want to see her, you'll have to brave the crowds.
Lily plays:
Wednesday August 9 - St. Jeromes, Melbourne
Thursday August 10 - Club 77, Sydney
Tickets to both shows are ONLY available on the door from 9pm. We advise you to get there very early.
